& i'm cringing because the director whitney smith is so embarrassing. he obviously has no clue about fashion history & only made this film to become famous himself (did it work? i have no idea, have never seen his reality show, & had no clue he existed before watching this). whitney has great style but ruins it by being such a dumb@ss . halston deserved MUCH better & why would anybody go to such lengths to make himself look foolish? i guess you could say that about most people these days but it never ceases to amaze me.anyhoo,the vintage fashion footage is lovely, just fast forward every time whitney starts talking. you can stream Ultrasuede: In Search Of Halston here
