the charity case

we sneak into this charity auction in beverly hills while i'm wearing a 1960s dress that i bought for a dollar.the place is packed with famous actors & millionaires.i get some free champagne & am front row when the bidding starts.

the charity is for sick children & no one is bidding. i am getting really upset & my friend has to shush me because i almost go off on everyone invited.pretty sure the charity made negative amounts of money that night (nothing was bid on while i was there). i could shame them by typing their names (these are all actors who've been working at least since the 1990s so they were not broke) but i won't.
