nina simone movie review

so we all knew "nina" would be a hot steaming mess once the promo pix were released.only in white peoples minds could a latina be acceptable playing a black woman. zoe saldana is covered in cheap mud brown makeup(with her face 10 shades darker than her body). i guess they decided not to hire a black makeup artist either. her afro wigs look like they cost $5.

it's weird to have such a pro black movie involve so little actual black people(& yes it shows).like only others are allowed to tell our stories .

long story short zoe saldana can't act and should have never been cast as nina simone while viola davis and Uzo Aduba are still alive.
