I've always found this story to be fascinating, catholic hypocrite has bastard daughter, lies & says she's adopted,biggest scandal in old Hollywood, etc. now they are trying to say that clark raped her & loretta only realized it 50 years later, then only told the story in a book published after she died?

when someone claims to be raped I tend to believe it. men are gross & will try to get away with a lot of foul things but I think this is a way for the in laws/sons to clear Loretta's "good" name. if she'd gone on oprah or ellen with this news i'd believe it but in a book published after she cannot speak about it, then no. it's too convenient & i'm pretty sure it does not take 5 decades for someone to realize they were raped.

also the part in the article where they reunite for another movie years later, then she has a miscarriage. whose baby was this? why so vague?
