Death Race 2050

now I am obsessed with the original Roger Corman's Death Race 2000 so I was way too excited when I heard there would be a Death Race 2050.my first thought is the "special effects" cost $3 and how could the older one be less racist than this new version? 12 minutes in and i'm already regretting my life choices.


malcolm mcdowell is so talented and it makes me feel sorry watching him waste his time on this.it's supposed to be set in america but all the audience members and non speaking extras are mexican.i wonder if that was shade or nah. either way it's as disturbing as the black "female" character. Shanna Olson and Burt Grinstead are funny as hell and the costumes were great but I can't recommend this.just watch the original movie instead
